The Half Marathon race starts and finishes at BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA, with rolling hills accentuating the course.
The Half Marathon is challenging. If you have not ran a marathon before, we highly recommend you practice before race.
It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the course. Course markings will be indicated by “1/2” painted in white. We will also have cones, signs, and road marshals on race day.
All roads will remain open to traffic, so PLEASE be aware of your surroundings and keep your eyes open at all times.
Water stations will be available roughly every 2 miles. Gels will be available at the mile 8 water station, also.
A Porta John will be available near the following area/s for your convenience:
2 ½ Mile Marker
10 ½ Mile Marker
You MUST be at the water station on Scotch Valley Road (near the 10.2-mile mark) within 2 hours.
If you are not present at the checkpoint by 9:30 AM, you will NOT receive a finishing time.
You can either:
Wait for the follow vehicle to take you back to the finish, OR
Finish on your own, which means you will need to obey all traffic signs and may not have the support of the last water station.
8:00 AM START @ BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA
The 10K Run course starts and finishes at BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA, however, you’ll turn around after the 3rd Mile.
All roads will remain open to traffic, so PLEASE be aware of your surroundings and keep your eyes open at all times.
It is your responsibility to look at the map and familiarize yourself with the course. Follow the cones, 10K signs, and road marshals on race day. There will be water stations about every 2 miles.
8:02 AM START @ BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA
The 5K Walk course starts and finishes at BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA; however, you will turn around in the Hollidaysburg Ambulance parking lot. It is your responsibility to look at the map and familiarize yourself with the course.
Roads will remain partially open to traffic, so PLEASE be aware of your surroundings and keep your eyes open at all times.
Once on Penn Street/Rte. 36, please stay on the sidewalk and to the right of the cones the whole way until you get to the Hollidaysburg Post Office.
When turning left onto Allegheny Street, be sure to stay off to the side at all times. Please look before turning to make sure you do not cross in front of traffic or the 10K runners coming through!
Follow the cones, 10K signs, and road marshals on race day. There will be water stations about every 2 miles.
