OUR 2025 CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

For over a century, the Blair Regional YMCA has been a beacon of connection, wellness, and opportunity. From pioneering childcare services to expanding wellness programs, our Y has grown alongside the needs of our community. 𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝙬𝙚 𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧: 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙨, 𝙛𝙞𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚.

The YMCA Early Learning Center, a cornerstone of our childcare program, is housed in a 1950s-era former school building. While this facility has served us well, it is now outdated and unsustainable, threatening the availability of quality childcare for over 200 families annually. 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙔𝙈𝘾𝘼 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙪𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩.

Beyond childcare, this campaign is about creating a YMCA that truly serves everyone:

·𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬: Convenient, centralized services allow parents to spend more quality time together.

·𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬: Dedicated spaces for connection and wellness ensure our older members thrive.

·𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬: New community rooms provide a safe space for youth to grow and socialize.

·𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬: Expanded wellness areas, an elevated indoor running track, Member Reception Lounge, and community rooms dedicated to fitness and programming

If you can’t make one of the scheduled drop-off dates, contact us to schedule one. If you need assistance getting your items to the BRY, call us to schedule a Pick Up!

All donations and funds raised through #community outreach goes right back into the people you know, the children you care about, and the place you call home.

Reminder | We CANNOT take the following items: Clothing, Stuffed Animals, Tube TV’s, Incomplete Electronics, Shoes, Magazines. All donated items must be in good/working condition.

TOGETHER

The Y is where Blair County goes to play, learn, and be healthy. We provide childcare for parents, empower young adults, and assist seniors with remaining active and engaged in communities from Hollidaysburg to Altoona, Duncansville, Roaring Spring, and throughout Blair County, PA. When you participate in our fundraising efforts, you provide children a safe place to go and community members a way to connect.
