BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA in Hollidaysburg, PA, operates our primary YMCA facility at 1111 Hewit Street. Our off-site Early Learning Center, which houses our Pre-K Counts and Child Care Programs, is located at 2459 Reservoir Road.
Y members enjoy full facility privileges at BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA. Our pools and dressing rooms are ADA-compliant and accessible to all, including those who use a wheelchair, walker, or mobility assistance device.
BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA features a well-equipped, state-of-the-art gymnasium and community center, as well as sports courts, exercise studios, aquatics facilities, and amenities. We’re so much more than a fitness center!
Members must be 13 years old to use the women’s and men’s locker rooms, unless accompanied by an adult. Caregivers accompanying members of the opposite sex are required to utilize the Universal Changing area.
Showers are available for use in the Men’s, Women’s, and Universal locker rooms. These are cleaned on a regular basis.
Various tables, benches, couches, and chairs are available in both the Main Lobby and Member Lounge. Seating is also available outside of the Gymnastics Gym and the Lap Pool, allowing parents/guardians to watch.
Our Member Lounge and Front Lobby provide tables and seating, as well as nearby restroom facilities. Free guest wifi is available near the Wellness Center. The password can be acquired at the Front Desk.
Our main gymnasium houses Court 1 and 2, used for a variety of programming: pickleball, land fitness classes, youth sports, walking, and more! Court 3 houses our Blair Regional YMCA Gymnastics program.
Our lap pool is open to use for lap swimmers and those looking for low-impact cardio exercise. We provide weekly Water Aerobics classes as well. The lap pool is also home to our Tigersharks Swim team. Young swimmers and their families can also utilize the lap pool during open swim hours.
Our warm water pool is excellent for water therapy and our Joints-In-Motion, Arthritis, and Aqua Flex classes.
We also offer a variety of swim lessons, tailored to your needs.
We believe that swimming is a life skill, not just a sport. Our swim lessons are designed to build safety, confidence, and technique in a supportive environment. We offer a variety of lessons, beginning at 6 months, including group and private lessons.
For those with a competitive spirit, we are home to the TigerSharks! Our swim team is a structured, competitive program that competes against other YMCS across the region. “Fins Up” isn’t just a motto; it’s about discipline, teamwork, and building character both in and out of the lane. Our Land Fitness classes are currently open.
Our Youth and Adult Sports Programs are currently open.
Our Child Care Programs at the Early Learning Center, in Frankstown, and at the Main YMCA, are open to children who are 6 weeks old-6th Grade. We offer a state-licensed, Star 4 facility, as well as highly educated and trained staff.
Our Child Watch Program provides FREE supervision of children ages 6 months-9 years in the the on-site Child Watch room. This Member Benefit is for family and youth members participating in the YMCA classes or programs.
Caregivers must register ahead of time in order to utilize Child Watch. Spots will be allocated to the first 10 children registered. For more information and a list of all Child Watch guidelines, CLICK HERE.
The Y is for everyone. BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA offers a variety of programs, services, and activities for all age groups. From empowering kids to reach their full potential, pursuing health in mind, body, and spirit, to promoting social responsibility through supporting our neighbors and giving back, good feels great.
The YMCA conducts regular sex offender screenings on all members, participants, and guests. If a sex offender match occurs, BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA will end program participation, remove access, and cancel membership immediately.
