The following changes will be made to YMCA Before-school and After-school Child Care Programs held at:
YMCA Early Learning Center at Frankstown – (YCC)
Foot of Ten Elementary School – (FOT)
Longer Elementary School – (LONGER)
YMCA Early Learning Center
If ELC is open, the Before-school Program will be open.
FOT & LONGER
The Before-school Program will open at 8:30 AM.
YMCA Early Learning Center
If ELC is open, the Before-school Child Care Program will be open.
FOT & LONGER
After-school Program kids will need picked up within 2 hours of school closing.
YMCA Early Learning Center
If ELC is open, the Before-school Program will be open all day as an In-service Day.
FOT & LONGER
After-school Programs will be cancelled as well.
Kids may go to the ELC, if it remains open.
If Hollidaysburg Area School District (HASD) schools are on a delay, or cancelled due to snow/inclement weather, all morning Land and Aquatic classes will be cancelled (including Silver Sneakers).
Marketing Department will make appropriate announcements via WTAJ, social platforms, and website.
In the event inclement weather begins after school hours or on a weekend, the decision to cancel classes will be the responsibility of the instructor. Staff will notify registered participants of cancellations. Participants are encouraged to check with the YMCA prior to travel via phone 814-695-4467.
Program staff will contact you with any cancellations.
BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA typically follows the Hollidaysburg Area School District’s School Closure Policy for inclement weather.
If you would like to check whether a facility is closed due to inclement weather, or for another reason, you are encouraged to check the following resources.
