In our community, BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA is a leading voice on health and well-being. The Safe Sitter Essentials with CPR is a nationally recognized training program for youth babysitting taught by certified SafeSitter instructors. During the training, students ages 11 to 15 learn how to care for a choking infant or child, basic first aid/CPR, personal safety as a babysitter, injury prevention, how to care for children (feeding, diapering, etc.), behavior management and more. This class will be held at BLAIR REGIONAL YMCA. Pre-registration is required. Registration must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian before the start of class. Participants may pack a snack.
